RTSP - IP Camera General information and setting

Here are some cameras that works with UniStream:

  • Provision I3-380IP04
  • Wanscam ADST30P200
  • Etrovision  N70A-BL
  • Smart IP SI-B1010
  • Hikvision DS-2CD2632F-I
  • Top-201-IR-H264-1MP

As there are many IP Camera manufacturers, Each manufacturer has its own hardware and firmware so the setting can be different between models.

We can suggest to pay attention to the next parameters when setting a camera:

·         RTSP protocol support

·         Video Compression: H.264

·         Video Resolution and FPS (Frames per second):

Stream video from a camera via the RTSP Protocol:

After placing the widget on the display, select the Source Type; the Properties change to reflect your choice:

 

Properties - RTSP Streaming

Source IP

These are the camera's settings.

Source Unique Name

Source Password

If a password has been assigned to the camera, you must supply it.

Source Port

The default port for RSTP is 554.

Show Video Controls

When this is checked, the video player displays controls that enable the user to start, stop, and adjust the video volume.

Start Volume

Move the slider to set the volume level when the file is opened.

Video URL

Enter the parameters according to your requirements.
