Servo motor with Brake

When a Motor has a built in Brake , for example : UMM-0004BAB-B4, the Brake must be released before any attempt to rotate the Motor.

To do so you can connect direct 24VDC to the Green(-) and White(+) wires (on the Servo end) , this will keep the Brake released at all time.

Or control the Brake via the Servo drive as follow:

The default Servo output for the Brake is in CN1 11 and CN1 12, the connection to the Brake will be via Relay.

The option to work in npn or pnp is also available and the signal can be inverted as follow:
