Yes, UniStream can act as a Web Server. Users can access Web pages hosted by UniStream using any web browser.  You design web pages using UniLogic’s built-in Web Page Editor. No HTML coding required–you simply drag&drop elements and widgets, similar to the HMI Displays Editor.
You can also create different user accounts and multi-level password settings, and apply them to individual web pages.
Additional information can be found within the UniLogic Help file under Communications/ Web Server.

Configuring the Web Server

Please note that the Panel IP address is the one used by the web server

  1. Select Web Server from the Solution Explorer.
  2. Click the green plus sign to enable the Web Server.
Note that UniLogic will then automatically open the Web Page editor.
However, you can configure additional Web Server properties at any time by clicking Web Server from the Solution Explorer to open the Properties Window.
  3. Use the Properties Window to set general Attributes, such as a default page background, and to configure Security.

Security

Use security to require users to enter a password before accessing a web page.

  1. Create a collection of Roles
  2. Create list of Users, assign a Role and a password to each user.
  3. When you design web pages, assign them to individual web pages according to your requirements.

Further notes:

1. Unistream products DO NOT use Log4J library.

2. Unistream Web Server is NodeJS based, not Apache.
