Remote update UniStream BIN files

It is possible to remote update the BIN files (PLC OS version) in your UniStream PLC from anywhere as long as both the computer and UniStream are connected to the Internet.

This is vey useful in case the UniStream is located in a remote site, saving you the need of a trip.

This is also the recommended way for any OS update!

To do remote update of the BIN files►
 

Please note that the firmware will be downloaded according to the version of UniLogic you are using.

For example:

· UniLogic 1.18.60, will only download firmware 1.18.x

· UniLogic 1.19.80, will only download firmware 1.19.x

Please make sure you have connection to the UniStream either via USB or Ethernet cable. For this you can link on PC-PLC connection on the PLC menu.

Wait until UniLogic recognize the UniStream.

Once UniStream is recognize, go once more to UniStream management and select remote update option.

 

Insert a USB or SD card (FAT32 formatted)  to the UniStream PLC slot and choose the correct target accordingly.

Please also select the option force.

Once connection has been establish, press the update button and wait for the PLC to be updated

 Update process will start, unilogic will copy the files to the PLC choosen memory, and update process will start.

 wait until it finished- the PLC will reboot automatically and start up with the new OS....
