PRBK recover corrupted project

When a customer complaints about corrupted UniLogic project and our R&D confirm that the project is corrupted please perform the following:

1. Ask the customer for the latest PRBK file (according to date/time) of their project - They can find it in C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Unitronics\Projects Backup

2. Once you get the PRBK file perform the below:


  • Kill UniLogic.


  • Open UniLogic installation folder and open the next file with Notepad.

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Unitronics\UniLogic\Unitronics.Notifier.exe.config




  • In notepad --> replace `False` to `True` in line "RecoverFromFileKey" (Line 24).




  • Re-open UniLogic as Administrator. 
  • Right click on UniLogic icon and click on Recover.



  • Select your *.Prbk file and the destination file name:
