Catastrophic Failure is caused by missing system files or broken system registry structures.

Please first make sure you login with Administrator privileges on your PC when installing/Uninstalling VisiLogic.

Go to: Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options > View Tab > Hidden files and folders > Mark the "Show hidden files , folders , and drives"

Then go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information

You should see few folders with "Product GUID" folder.

Usually the GUID is {8A9D3251-0E92-4C91-80AE-05EEAFC6467D}. Make sure it's related to VisiLogic by opening the "Setup".ini" and see Appname=VisiLogic

If it does, please delete the entire folder.

*Note- the GUID may be named differently. In this case, enter each folder and launch the "setup" to see if it is related to VisiLogic.

Reboot your PC and try to install/uninstall VisiLogic from your desktop by pulling the install wizard downloader file from the Downloads folder and sending it to your Desktop folder before opening the install wizard.

If you are still experiencing uninstall/install issues after trying the deleting GUID folder process above, then install a free 3rd party cleaner like REVO uninstaller to wipe all the program and registry files for Visilogic and then you should be able to try the install process from our website again to download and open Visilogic.
